My March Madness crushes

Yes it has arrived, every basketball fans favorite time of the year March Madness!  This year I can't help but share with you some of my 2015 college basketball player crushes.  Crushing because of their game not romantically.  Giving yall the #CookieLyons side eye if that is what you thought.

FIRST up is Duke point guard Tyus Jones.  This kid doesn't drive the lane he owns it.  His take no prisoners mentally when he's up against guys 4 inches taller (he measures at 6'1") is what motivates my Phenom to have a dream.  The fact that they share the same birthday, 5/10, was just far too coincidental too!  Jones is also being looked at to receive MVP of his conference this year -- impressive for a freshman.  Duke suffered a tough loss to Norte Dame last week stopping them from moving forward in the ACC Conference playoffs but a good showing is expected in upcoming NCAA tourney play.  Whatever the outcome I am sure Tyus will continue to be explosive and motivate.

Check back tomorrow and see who else makes the list.

The Mogul | She Did That! In The Kitchen

Yes the Mogul is in the kitchen again and we are giving her latest dish the Curvy Momager seal of approval.  Straight from Pinterest this yummy baked Italian sandwich is high on the repeat list.  It was really filling too, even The Phenom was satisfied after two pieces.  No modifications were done either, that’s a first, but we thought we might add some oil and vinegar dressing the next time.  The ingredients and construction are real simple and it cost about $17.00 to make it.  Great treat for a party or Sunday afternoon chillfest.  We enjoyed it during the Rockets vs. Cavs game.  Did ya’ll see Bron Bron get into that tussle with Wesley?  WOW

The Goods (Ingredients)

2 cans of crescent rolls (We used Pillsbury but you can use any kind)
1/4 pd salami
1/2 pd ham
1/2 pd capocollo
1 jar of drained hot pepper rings (from a jar)
8 slices of provolone cheese

The Steps

Preheat oven to 375.

Use a round baking dish and separate the crescent rolls in strips (see photo below) and lay out on the baking dish.  Place the salami on the crescents first, layer with ham, then capocollo, next hot pepper rings and last the provolone cheese.

Roll the outer edges of the crescent to the middle of the pan and tuck under.

Place in oven between 19 - 22 minutes.  We suggest you test to make sure the bread isn’t too doughy before removing from the oven.

Talia also recommends using a pizza cutter to make slices.

Bon appétit!

Curvy Momagers Court | What's on our Fridge

Who cares what's IN your fridge, after all this isn't MTV Cribs but what do you see when you walk past it at least 30 times a day.  Can you tell the kitchen is a high concentration area in our house?  Well here is a peek of what is on our fridge this month.  It changes almost weekly so each month I'll share a look at what we have going on.
